Unity08 Keeps Muffing Comment Period Process

It’s six days now since the date on which Unity08 committed to closing the comment period on its proposed rules for nominating a president through online voting. And yet comments are still open. Funny thing, though — my comment noting the continuation of the comment period past the previously stated deadline is the only comment which has appeared on the system since Saturday. People seem to be staying away of their own accord. This leads us to a question in bipartisan unity philosophy: if you break one of your own rules and nobody comes around to notice, should you slap yourself on the wrist anyway?
