Congressional Evacuation or Retreat from Constituents?

That evacuation of the Cannon Congressional Office Building I looked into earlier this morning? It’s all over, apparently, and without anyone anywhere reporting on it. Word from an intern is that the evacuation was all due to a false alarm. Of course that intern’s colleagues in two home district offices weren’t answering the telephone either. Once telephone contact was made, an answer as to whether the intern’s congressional employer would vote in favor of the war funding today was not available. No knowledge of one of the most politically significant votes of the year. Evacuation indeed.
