President George W. Bush has thrown down the gauntlet. He has said that the U.S. House of Representatives has put the United States into extreme peril of a terrorist attack by going into recess for one week and not passing the a version of the FISA Amendments Act with retroactive immunity for telecommunications corporations before then.
Basically, what George W. Bush is saying is that the United States is in serious danger of being attacked by terrorists this week because the House did not pass his particular version of the FISA Amendments Act.

Is George W. Bush right, or will we not survive to see the month of March? Stay tuned, Homeland Security fans…
