3 Women Ordained As Priests And Other AntiMedieval News

Yesterday, a group of dissident Catholics ordained three women as priests. The Vatican expressed outrage that such a thing should occur, and declared once again that only men can become priests.

In other news from the Catholic Church:

– In Switzerland, a book about horse breeding methods was published using a printing press. The Pope indicated his suspicion of the new-fangled devices.

– A cargo ship in Portugal was stopped from leaving port after receiving a warning from a local bishop that it should not go beyond coastal waters because of the risk of being devoured by sea monsters or dropping off the edge of the Earth.

– The Roman Catholic Church announced the formation of a committee to study how to enhance the defenses of the Vatican City, should Genghis Khan decide to turn his army toward Europe again.
