McCain 9/29, Obama 10/4, Columbus Ohio. Two Rallies, Same City, One Week Apart. Big Difference.

When I showed up 2 1/2 hours before the 9/29/08 rally in Columbus, Ohio in support of John McCain and Sarah Palin, I jumped right to the head of the line… because I was the line:

When I showed up 2 1/2 hours before the 10/4/08 rally in Columbus, Ohio in support of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden (a rally which the candidates would not attend), this is what I saw:

    Yeah, so watch on election day as thousands get disenfrachised by the local Republican Party election “judges” and staff, demanding all sorts of needless i.d., harrassing (especially young first time) voters, faulty (no paper trail) electronic voting booths, moving of polling places at the last minute (or phony calls regarding same the night before) and other shenanigans.

    I would be like oh whatever I am not waiting on this line. Let’s go to a bar and drink and then come back and see if we can get in.
