Sometimes, the way that a person makes an apology contradicts the very idea of an apology.
So it is with Paul Schlesselman, the high school dropout who conspired with one of his neo-Nazi buddies to murder 88 African-Americans, chopping off 14 of their heads, and then top it all off with the assassination of Barack Obama.
“He said he’s sorry about everything he’s done.” said Schlesselman’s sister. “He just believes that he’s the master race,” explained his sister.
He just believes that he’s the master race? Somehow, I don’t see that as a sign that he really wants to make nice.
