Catholic Religious Imminent National Destruction Prediction Watch

Father John Corapi, Predictor of Economic, Social and National Doom for United StatesTwo nouns. Five adjectives. Imminentish Doom.

On October 17, 2008, Catholic Priest John Corapi sent out an e-mail to his followers in which he made that most dangerous of religious moves, an actual prediction:

“If we do not soon stop the genocide of abortion in the United States, we shall run the course of all those that prove by their actions that they are enemies of God—total collapse, economic, social, and national.”

That was three months ago. Abortion in the United States has not been stopped. Has the United States totally collapsed? Is it soon yet?

Even if it does collapse it will be as a direct result of the failed Bush administration policy of deregulation and misfeasance – not some hocus pocus superstition about God’s retribution. (That will come as a result of no action on the environment.)

Come now, Tom, the Christian god surely cares far more about the fetuses he doesn’t smite with miscarriage than he does about his greatest (or only) creation/the home (or charge) of his greatest creation.

Best to damn the vets who treat him instead of cleaning out your bunny’s hutch.

  3. HareTrinity says:

    Fetuses/Embryos, sorry.

Do y’all honestly think the country is NOT collapsing right now? It took time to get here; it will take time for it to all fall apart.
