Harvard Set for Extensive Darwin Day Celebration on February 12

To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, Harvard University has prepared a full set of celebratory events during the next week including lectures, scientific expositions, parties, and a complete reading of The Origin of Species at multiple locations around campus. If you just happen to be in or around Cambridge, Massachusetts, do drop in.

    Discover magazine has a “Special” issue on this exact subject. While I find that Discover’s approach is somewhat sophomoric, there are some interesting articles that bring new ideas and research to light.
