Obama Talks Out Of Both Sides Of His Mouth

We’ve got this video of Barack Obama talking out of both sides of his mouth – literally.

First Obama said that he’d restore constitutional rights and end warrantless wiretapping and out of control presidential authority. Now, President Obama is sending his lawyers to court to defend George W. Bush and to assert the very same unconstitutional, totalitarian unitary executive balderdash that Democrats protested against just last year.

So where’s the Democrats’ outrage now? Oh yeah – they’ve been talking out of both sides of their mouths too.

So much for hope and “change you can believe in”.
Maybe we were naive to think we could actually elect someone who could (let alone would) make progressive changes so that the U.S. was once again a beacon of democracy. Now it looks as if we’ve put a new captain at the helm to continue driving us straight down the road to ruin. Both his propping up of failed banks (trusting the very people who got us here to get us out), his appointees in finance (Geithner is in over his head AND is one of “them”), and the mirrored people and policies he’s chosen with regard to foreign and domestic concerns put us right back on the Bush administration’s road to nowhere.

The people who really run the country and influence world finance are out of reach. Anyone in the public eye is a mere puppet. That’s what it looks like when we elect a no-change for the better leader and he fails to do what he said on the campaign trail and fails to uphold the Constitution.

i no longer believe in politics as a viable instrument of progressive change.
