The economy is so bad that Slate has canceled its Explainer podcast. It hasn’t canceled its list of Explainer columns, but felt it necessary to cut back on the expense of having someone read the columns for three and a half minutes and post them to the internet. In the last Explainer podcast, Slate explained that it would bring back the Explainer podcast as soon as it could afford to pay someone to read for three and a half minutes.
How preoccupied am I about how bad the economy is?

I’m so preoccupied about how bad the economy is that I didn’t notice the Slate Explainer podcast was gone for two months.
