On the southern end of Fredonia, New York, a place called Aldrich’s Beef & Ice Cream Parlor now sits empty, having closed up shop for good. Maybe if they had tried chicken & ice cream or lamb & ice cream, it could have worked out, but beef & ice cream don’t combine so well, especially when steak sauce is used. When the ice cream melts, there’s chunks of cow left in the bottom of your cone. Gross. At least with chicken or lamb, you could pretend that it’s chocolate chip cookie dough.
