Google's Gmail Notifier Excludes Google's Internet Browser

Well, isn’t that just the darndest thing. A program written by google called the Gmail Notifier puts an application on your computer’s desktop and tells you when a fresh piece of e-mail has arrived in your Gmail account. If you click to “Open Inbox,” an internet browser launches the full gmail application, and you can head over to “Options” to specify which sort of browser you’d like to open:

Google Gmail Notifier won't let you choose Google Chrome

It’s just the darndest thing, but Google’s own Chrome browser doesn’t seem to be on the list of options.
