It’s been two months and two days since officials from civilian and military intelligence agencies declared unanimously before the Senate that an attempted terrorist attack on the “U.S. Homeland” within six months was “certain.”
There’s been no such attack yet, and the days are ticking down on this event whose occurrence is agreed to be “certain”. Are the government’s intelligence leaders prescient or using undue fear to sell their product? We’ll find out in the next four months.
