Where Does the Unity12 Task Force Dwell? Receipts Say the DC Beltway

The Unity12 Task Force, also simply known as Unity12, has nominal homes distributed across the country: Jim Jonas, administrator for a variety of Unity12-related websites, registers those websites in Denver, Colorado. Unity12’s ballot access efforts are being run by an agency out of California. Kahlil Byrd, the Chief Operating Officer of Unity12, runs Sung Media Ventures, a political consulting shop, out of Boston. The Unity12 corporation’s mailing address is 1775 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Suite 1212 in Washington DC.

Of all these places, where does Unity12 really abide? What does the old adage say? Is it “home is where the heart is” or “home is where the hearth is”? Fortunately, thanks to another old adage, “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,” we know that the place of one’s heart is also the place where one toddles off for a bit of light snacking.

Below is a map of local purchases of goods and services made by Unity12, including not only food but print shops and temp hiring, in its first quarter of activity:

The Corner Bakery, within a block of the nominal Unity12 mailing address (which is as you’ll notice within a block of the White House), was visited in May and June to pick up “meeting food and beverage.” The Kinko’s print shop and Doyle temp services were also used within the immediate area. It appears as though Unity12’s Washington, DC mailing address is not just a mailing address but functioning as a headquarters as well.

Are you really concerned about what these folks at UnityXX will accomplish? They seem to be doing a great job wasting resources while accomplishing nothing (except pay their own salaries) just like they did during the previous campaign cycle.

I think that if they collect big money from a few people, they’ll be able to accomplish a whole lot, even if that does not include electing a president and vice president.

The UnityXX saga is one of my Irregular Times favorites. Please, continue kicking ass.

Gosh: when you and Hendrix call it UnityXX, I start getting excited. Someone towel me off! 😉
