Nuclear Weapons Go Offline! Why Not Make That Permanent?

The Pentagon has revealed that, on Saturday, one out of every nine intercontinental ballistic missiles, weapons designed to destroy foreign cities with nuclear explosions, were made unavailable for immediate launch because of a technical glitch.

As a result… nothing bad happened at all.

Why don’t we just make Saturday’s glitch permanent, and destroy those nuclear weapons for good?
