Congressional Prayer Caucus Rejects National Fig Week

Jesus Christ declares in Mark 11 and Matthew 21: I Hate Figs! A curse be upon you.The 53 members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus have acted in accordance with their professed Biblical values this year. Not one of them has introduced or supported any legislation to recognize National Fig Week, November 1-7. This is consistent behavior, considering the Biblical condemnation of figs by Jesus of Nazareth in Mark 11 and Matthew 21.

Keep it up, members of Congress. Defend the Faith! No newtons for anybody!
