My Vote For The Most Idiotic Anti-Obama Facebook Page Ever

Readers here know that I am not a big fan of Barack Obama. President Obama has gone too far to the right, repeating too many of the worst mistakes of George W. Bush, to pass my gaze without harsh criticism.

Still, when I see anti-Obama messages from the Republicans, I’m tickled at the unreflective stupidity of what they have to say.

This morning, it was anti-Obama social media that gave me a giggle. There are 1,400 members of the Facebook community that calls itself “I Support Removal Of The un-Constitutional President NOW – Not in 2012”.

calendrically challenged Republicans on Facebook

Has it not occurred to one of these 1,400 people that they might change the name of their community, or did they consider the new name “I Support Removal Of The un-Constitutional President NOW – Not in 2013”, and decide that it just didn’t sound right?

Thanks for pointing out the kooky site. These people — see http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-Support-Removal-of-the-un-Constitutional-president-NOW-Not-in-2012/142813812450906 — aren’t talking impeachment anywhere on their page. They’re just plain talking “removal.” The removal of a president without an election or an impeachment would be … unconstitutional.

Jim, I’m going to assume they mean that, somehow, the supreme court should just kick Obama out, like a good, “non-activist” court should.

      …if not felonious.
