The New York Times (you know, “All the News That’s Fit to Print”) refuses to cover it anywhere on its front page, where over a hundred other news headlines sit.

Among the stories the New York Times decides is “fit to print” on its front page — unlike the news of thousands of people taking over Times Square in protest — is the exclusive breaking news that Van Cliburn is going to sell one of his pianos.

  1. Peregrin Wood says:

That protest is RIGHT OUTSIDE THE NEW YORK TIMES OFFICES! Hm… Maybe that’s why the New York Times is afraid to print news about it.

  2. Jim Cook says:

Even next morning, there’s no news about this big protest on its first page. Instead, the New York Times has a story up about a new kind of girdle.

  3. Jerry Thomas says:

I watched MSNBC on May 1 and May 2 for much of the day and night. Their coverage was almost nil (surprisingly). I was quite angry. For their integrity as reporters of the news, the commentators and pundits should have resigned?

    1. J. Clifford says:

Both the MS and the NBC of MSNBC are big time corporate entities. Why would they report favorably on Occupy protests?

  4. Jerry Thomas says:

Maybe the New York Times couldn’t find the news!!!

  5. Miguel Angel says:

Un saludo desde España, compartiendo vuestra lucha y vuestros sueños.

¡Viva el 15-M! ¡ Viva el movimiento Occupy!
