Burning things and killing people because there’s a movie you don’t like is not the kind of bullying rage that makes the world a better place. But let’s put that in context. Over the last twelve years, how many Muslims have killed Christians? Most people stop there, but the second question needs to be asked: how many Christians have killed Muslims?
Include all types of killings, and the latter number will be higher. There are just some kinds of rage — the institutionally-approved sort, the sort carried out by “our” side — that we choose not to count.
