Do You Have a Good Hosting Provider?

As you may have noticed, Irregular Times has been up and down a lot within the last few months. We’re really, really not happy with the quality of service provided by our current web hosting provider.

Do you use a web hosting service that is reliable and responsive, one that you’d recommend to others? Let us know.

Yeah, I’ve been wondering about those “this account has been suspended” pages I frequently see when trying to get to IT. I run several sites for my own business, my wife’s, and a non-profit we’re active in. Some are hosted by BlueHost, others by GoDaddy. I’m happy with both, but have a slight preference for BlueHost because its tech support people seem to be a little more responsive, plus GoDaddy’s ads are pretty sexist and some of its default account settings are annoying (e.g., database connections time out too quickly, as does its FTP client). Advantage BlueHost.

I provide hosting for minor party candidates and also ballot-access news blog. I emailed you. I would be glad to be of assistance to you and your website.

GoDaddy stinks in my experience. they should divert some of that marketing money into customer service.

    I use Site5. Give them a 7.5.
