How Has The Birth Of The Prince Of Cambridge Changed Your Life?

The moment that the Prince of Cambridge was born, thick storm clouds over the field where I was playing soccer opened up, revealing the warm glow of the sun, as members of both teams sank to their knees and gave praise.

Children in the towns nearby began eating their Brussels sprouts without complaint, and the cars on the streets nearby began running quietly, and without pollution.  Birds in the trees began chirping Haydn.

How has life changed for you now that the Prince of Cambridge has been born?

I notice that olives smell better this evening than they ever have before.

I met my wife for lunch on the new King’s birthday, and remembered to bring an umbrella. Rain came down in buckets as I escorted her to her car, but we remained very cozy. I NEVER remember the umbrella. Never. She was quite impressed and I can only attribute this to the little Royal Pip.

I just giggled when I read your comment. Pip pip (cheerio?) can be the only explanation! 😉

That’s pip as in “seed”, an old Southern colloquialism.
