A coalition of activist groups, including Fight For the Future, CODE PINK and the Bill of Rights Defense Committee have announced June 5 as Reset the Net day. This is a very practical action day with a teach-in/do-in aspect to it. As you can read here, the plan is that on June 5, individuals and websites will publicly declare actions they have taken to beef up privacy for themselves and/or their visitors as a protection against unwanted, unwarranted surveillance.
I’ll be the first to admit that the level of my knowledge regarding privacy technology is low. Tech-savvy readers, what do you think of the plan?
