Why You Won’t Find Me At McDonalds Today

image

Hey, McDonald’s: See all those people walking on past your fast food restaurant?
I’m  joining them today. I’ll walk past the golden arches without going inside.

Why? Low pay is not okay.

I would pay more for food at McDonald’s if it meant that workers there could receive fair pay. As it is, McDonald’s workers put in a full day’s work, but in exchange, aren’t given enough money to live on. That’s not right.

I will stand with the McDonald’s workers who are protesting for fair wages this week – and I won’t be going inside to buy any cheap food.
