Gimme Edward Snowden

Secretary of State John Kerry calls Edward Snowden a “coward” for individually facing down the U.S. government in order to expose the unconstitutional regime of Big Brother spying against Americans set up under George W. Bush.

A coward? That’s not how they see things at Gimme Coffee, a small chain of cafes that has begun selling a frozen coffee beverage under the name of The Snowden.

The secret’s out! It’s treasonously good!

  • Some may argue whether Edward Snowden is a traitor to his country but as it has already been much debated, some questions about the accountability of the government remains unanswered. On one hand it is important for the government to protect it’s secret but on the other hand, it shouldn’t be dishonest with it’s citizens. In my opinion, government should be accountable and people’s privacy should be given back to them.

My sense is that the proprietors of Gimme Coffee agree with you, Tushar. In my opinion, questions of treason are less importance than questions of fidelity to the Constitution and the liberties it establishes.
