Are “The Minority Groups Supporting Donald Trump?” Fact Check.

Earlier this week, visitor John Simmons made the claim that “even the minority groups are supporting Trump.” When we pressed him to show support for this claim Simmons replied, “Ummm it’s as simple as doing a search for ‘blacks Muslims support trump’ on you tube.” When we asked him to show non-anecdotal evidence of this, Simmons copied and pasted a Daily Beast article, which in turn refers to a four-month-old SurveyUSA poll. “What made everyone’s jaw hit the floor is that he received more than 20 percent support among African-American voters in every matchup,” wrote copied Simmons.

Let’s fact-check this.  It won’t take long.

It is true that in every matchup against Democratic candidates, Donald Trump receives the support of more than 20 percent of black voters.

It is also true that in every matchup against Donald Trump, a large majority of black voters indicate their plan to vote for the Democratic alternative.

Are there some black people who support Donald Trump?  Undoubtedly.  But is there anything close to a majority of black voters who support Donald Trump?  Hardly.  There is no available data to suggest that black Americans tend to support Donald Trump.

For a Republican, that is a good percentage as Democrats are made up of a large majority of “blacks” and some others. As whites will, in a few years, be a minority as well, then whites will have the same rights that “the others” do. How nice. But until then, Donald Trump does have a larger than normal support from Hispanics, blacks, and “others”. He didn’t have to go out and wheedle with leaders and do what the Clinton’s are doing to get it. I might as well add Bernie Sanders by now since he is backing the Clinton’s as well. Very disappointing.

Rather than copy all my comments from there to here, I urge readers to see the other article.

In a nutshell, both articles are full of holes.

Well, how about that. I didn’t see J. Clifford had a similar idea, namely to go check observable facts.

      “Holes” = “You don’t like.”

He doesn’t need a majority of teh black support. If he indeed has 20% of black support (who vote), then the election is indeed over for the Democrats. At that percentage, no Democrat can possibly win the White House.
