French Apologist For The Nazis Endorses Donald Trump
Over the last couple days, right wing readers of Irregular Times have done their darndest to diminish the significance of the support declared for the Donald Trump for President campaign by David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.
Donald Trump’s latest endorsement has come from the founder of the right wing extremist political party, The National Front. Jean-Marie Le Pen declared, “If I were American, I would vote Donald Trump.”
Like David Duke, Jean-Marie Le Pen has a certain soft spot for the Nazis. He has asserted the Nazi gas chambers to be a mere blip in history, and said that the German occupation of France was not very brutal, really, even though the Nazis made a couple of goof-ups in the process.
Other charming bits of Jean-Marie Le Pen:
– “There must be an authority, and we believe that the most qualified authority in a household is the man’s.”
– All people with AIDS should be imprisoned in buildings called sidatoriums.
– Le Pen personally conducted torture against prisoners in Algeria. The dagger he used to cut into prisoners’ bodies during interrogations was uncovered by the newspaper Le Monde.
