Time For Hillary Clinton To Release The Transcripts Of Her Paid Speeches To Goldman Sachs

This week during a debate between Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, Sanders called on Clinton to release the transcripts of her paid speeches to Goldman Sachs – and Clinton responded by demanding that Sanders release his most recent income tax return.

Today, Sanders released his income tax return. It’s fairly dull. Mostly, it reflects the salary he receives as a US Senator. Sanders has no large sources of external income.

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has made $225,000 for giving just a single speech to Goldman Sachs, a Wall Street investment firm.

Bernie Sanders came clean and shared his private tax information, as Hillary Clinton demanded.

Now, it’s time for Hillary Clinton to release the transcripts of her speeches – each just a day’s work, for which she was paid several several times more than most Americans can ever hope to make in exchange for an entire year’s labor.

What was it that Hillary Clinton told Wall Street executives that was worth so much money to them?

As long as Hillary Clinton is silent on the matter, that refusal to talk to voters, when talk came so richly for America’s financial elites, is the story that matters.

I guess I can still give you kudos for being unbiased, even if it is only being so within your own party. Kudos! Yes, hitlary needs to give it up.

  2. J Clifford says:

John, no one writing for Irregular Times is a Democrat…

    …and “Hitlary”? Really?!?

Can you actually name one substantial similarity between HIllary Clinton and Adolf Hitler, or do you just get a thrill out of saying naughty things?

The answer to your question is very simple. in fact , there are numerous valid examples to point out the similarities. However, the most fundamental similarity between Hillary Clinton and Adolf Hitler is that both clearly showed that they believed that an all-powerful government has more rights than individuals, and that individual rights only exist at the pleasure of government. One “validated’ that socialism by being “national”. The other “validated” that socialism by being “democratic”. Both “validations” are totally contrary to the American concepts that founded our nation.

      1. J Clifford says:

Al, that’s actually NOT clear with Hillary Clinton. You can make that argument, I suppose, if you accept a certain ideological slant with a lot of baggage, but it isn’t really clear.

        1. Al Hopfmann says:

Really??? It’s “NOT clear with Hillary Clinton”???
One only needs to consider Hillary Clinton’s voting record as a Senator and her policy pronouncements regarding the United Nations to make it clear. Our nation was founded on the fundamental principle that individual rights naturally exist, that they are not granted by governments.. The United Nations operates on the opposite principle that government has full authority over what rights individuals have. It couldn’t be much clearer than that. Care to guess which side of that issue Adolph Hitler was on?

Oh that’s right, it’s only ok to name someone as a racist if they are not your presidential choice. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen you try and label trump as a racist when he is clearly not. Hillary is more similar to hitler in her beliefs than you are willing to acknowledge. I’m just not politically correct so I can call things how they are and not what I imagine them to be.

Obviously the transaction involving Clinton and Goldman Sachs was a quid pro quo. Instead of just giving Clinton the money so that she could pull strings available to her as a senator or whatever she was or will be, they made it look like she earned the money. Unfortunately, Bernie Sanders hasn’t quite hit the nail on the head about this. Clinton is an excellent spokesperson, on par with media stars like David Muir, Scott Pelly, Charlie Rose, etc., all of whom get paid to say what those who pay them want them to say. Hillary in this regard runs circles around Sanders, who comes off as clumsy and ill-informed because he’s not getting scripts written for him like Hillary. Fortunately, millions of Americans are on to this deception. I fear those millions aren’t enough.

Sure enough. Bernie Sanders released his tax forms.
