How Does Your Garden Grow?

It’s been an unusually dry spring here in Maine; the month of May saw rainfall levels that kept pace for Tucson, Arizona of all places.  We had dust devils here, not big ones, but still quite unusual.

This slowed down growth in the garden, as you can imagine, even though our aquifers are still full.

Here are some baby broccoli of mine.

What’s growing in your garden?

Your garden is beautiful. Down here we had rain, but the nights stayed too cool while the days broke heat records. Finally got some seeds to come up. It is late June now and the tomatoes, three generations in 9 plants, have 3 plants have finally grown enough that they may make before the sun goes too far south. Rain comes with spotty violent storms – really could do without them. Maybe it will finally smooth out now. Glad your aquifers are full. Wish you a happy, safe 4th of July.
