Kellyanne Conway Corrects Trump Claim That 650 Million People Will Pour Into The USA In One Week If Clinton Is Elected
Speaking to a crowd in Albuquerque, New Mexico yesterday, Donald Trump warned that, if Hillary Clinton is elected President, 650 million foreigners would cross the borders of the USA in just seven days. Trump told his followers, “You could have 650 million people pour in and we do nothing about it. Think of it, that’s what could happen. You triple the size of our country in one week.”
Geographers have asserted that it would be impossible for 650 foreigners to cross America’s borders in just one week. They point out that the immediate neighbors of the USA have combined populations much lower than 650 million people.
Canada has a population of 36.4 million people. Cuba has a population of 11.4 million people. Mexico has a population of 129.1 million people. Russia has a population of 143.4 million people. So, even if every single person in all of these countries decided to drive, walk, or take a boat into the United States in one week, that would still be only 320.3 million foreigners entering our country, technically smaller than Trump’s figure 650 million.
However, say sources close to the Trump for President campaign, “experts” in the fields of geography aren’t taking into account the possibility of a transdimensional wormhole opening up into an undisclosed location in the United States, such as Paramus, New Jersey. This wormhole could theoretically allow for the additional 329.7 million border crossings that Donald Trump was referring to.
Although Hillary Clinton is on the record in favor of comprehensive immigration reform and a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, there is no evidence she favors increasing the US population by 329.7 million interdimensional beings.
Staffers on the Trump campaign were quick to correct their candidate’s statement, however. “Mr. Trump misspoke when he stated that 650 million foreigners will enter the United States in one week if Hillary Clinton is elected President,” said Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway. “The correct statistic that he meant to refer to was 650 jillion foreigners. That’s 650 with a bazillion zeros.”
