Jeff Flake Flakes Out
Arizona Republican U.S. Senator Jeff Flake is faced with a weighty moral decision. Luckily for him, he’s had about a year and a half to study up on it.
It’s a weighty moral decision we all face. I’m talking, of course, about the 2016 presidential election.
Will Senator Flake choose to help elect Donald Trump, the candidate of his own party, but a candidate who supports:
Mass executions without trial
Concentration camps, government surveillance, and restricted travel for religious minorities
Giving nuclear weapons to foreign countries
Big new wars
A giant wall like what the Communists created around West Berlin
Massive spending increases
Special tax breaks favoring the wealthy and big corporations
Lower pay for American workers
A plan to make climate change even worse
Faced with these extreme plans from Donald Trump, Senator Flake will only say that it’s “a possibility” that he might vote for another candidate.
After all this time, with less than a week to go before election day, Jeff Flake still hasn’t made up his mind.
If Jeff Flake can’t make up his mind, faced with such a clear moral decision, how can the people of Arizona trust him to make more subtle choices on their behalf in the United States Senate?
