What You Did On Your Summer Vacation – You Protested Trump!
On the very day that Donald Trump was inaugurated as President. the White House Office of National AIDS Policy disappeared. Trump’s Press Secretary Sean Spicer, when asked if Donald Trump will preserve protections against workplace discrimination targeting Americans according to their sexual orientation, could only answer “I don’t know.”
So much for the idea that Donald Trump might be more friendly to LGBT rights than previous Republican presidents.
Once again, America is responding.
On June 11, the Capital Pride Alliance will hold a National Pride March in Washington DC, speaking out against the Trump Administration’s antipathy to equal rights for all Americans.
Simultaneous demonstrations will be held in communities across the country.
If you have any pride at all, be there.
