President Donald Trump Uncovers $373.5 Million Protest Payment Plan

President Donald Trump claims to know somehow that all those anti-Trump protesters are actually being paid to engage in activism:

Trump goes wild on Twitter again

But let’s do the math. Academic estimates of attendance at the January 21, 2017 Women’s Marches alone top 4.15 million people.  The Women’s March lasted 5 hours including the rally and march, and liberals are known for their “Fight for $15” as a minimum wage, so that comes out to $75 per person.  Add $5 per sign and $10 for transportation to and from the event and you’ve got at the very least $90 per person, ignoring all other costs.

4.15 million people * $90/person = $373,500,000 dollars as a minimum cost to pay all those protesters.

Who exactly has got a third of a billion dollars lying around to throw away on a one-day event — and hundreds of millions more to pay for the sustained protest that has occurred nationwide since? The answer is staring blankly at you right now:

Donald Trump's blank stare

Trump against Trump: think about it.

I was there. I protested. I wasn’t paid. No one I knew who went there was paid anything. We went to stand up to America’s new fascist.

  2. Mary Sue Brown says:

Hey, where’s my money. I took the train to Chicago at 8:00 and didn’t return until 4:00. That’s $5. For the train and 120. For my time. Do you think Trump dreams these lies himself or is helped by Kelly Ann and Steve?

    1. Peregrin Wood says:

There has never been any evidence produced to support the claims that anti-Trump protesters are being paid to demonstrate.

On the other hand, there is plenty of evidence that a substantial majority of Americans is disgusted with what the Trump Republicans are doing with their control over the federal government.

Only 35% of respondents to a recent Quinnipiac poll were willing to describe Donald Trump as “honest”.
