George W. Bush Says You’re an Al Quaida Affiliate?

Strictly targeting Al Quaida and their known affiliates includes keeping records on tens of millions of Americans, tracking who they call on the telephone and when they make those calls? Well, if that's Bush's idea of strictly targeting, I guess that must mean that tens of millions of Americans are known affiliates of Al Quaida!

I love this statement released by George W. Bush after today’s news about how the Bush Administration has been keeping records of who and when ordinary Americans are calling on the telephone:

“Our intelligence activities strictly target al-Qaeda and their known affiliates”

So let me get this straight: Strictly targeting Al Quaida and their known affiliates includes keeping records on tens of millions of Americans, tracking who they call on the telephone and when they make those calls?

Well, if that’s Bush’s idea of strictly targeting, I guess that must mean that tens of millions of Americans are known affiliates of Al Quaida!

Betcha didn’t know that you are a special friend of Osama Bin Laden, did you?

  Those who accuse of ideological accusation will be accused of ideological accusation.

  There will be no bread lines in the Capitalist/Communist paradise of the future: Communism for the rich and capitalism for the poor. A Communist police state protecting property on behalf of monied interests who take risks underwritten by taxpayers. No money to feed the poor, but money to bail out the airlines, the insurance industry, and a big feedback loop of lobbying cash to seal out the proletariat once and for all.

  Bush and Hu Jintao are on board. Yeltsin didn’t realize that’s what “freedom” meant, but Putin’s got it figured out. The French keep whining and complaining–want to keep their living wages and family farms–but screw the French, right? There will be no living wages or family farms in the Capitalist/Communist bourgeois paradise of the future, thank Reagan!

  Whose interest is served by saying that the only alternative to 21st century Capitalist/Communism is 20th century Communism? It is those interests that you serve, Comrade Stalin.
