Irregular Times Diaries: Unfit Discussion

The Supreme Court, that haven of activist judges, has destroyed the spirit of American Independence by insisting that prisoners have a right to a fair trial, no matter what, no matter how much harm it causes to American freedom! These liberals that dominate the Supreme Court in spite of our Republican majority on the high bench just don’t get it. They just can’t see that these prisoners down in Guantanamo refused to fight in military uniform, and that’s why the only appropriate way to put them on trial is in front of a military tribunal.

I always say that there are none so blind as those who cannot see.

Until we are all willing to face trial in front of a military junta and to allow the government to do whatever is necessary to keep people locked up, we will never be free. George Washington taught us that, when he said, “You’re either with us or you’re against us.”
