I am curious about Star Jones comments about athiests. An observation that I have made is that when watching reality TV shows like Survivor the born again Christians proceed through life on the assumption that they can do whatever they want, and God will forgive them. They are always the biggest liars.

I agree with Barbara. Atheists tend to have a lot more subtlety in their approach to morality, which makes them more forgiving and open-hearted. The born-again Christians are arrogant about their morality, and regard themselves as having a moral get out of Hell free card that excuses whatever they do.

That’s a pretty big assumption. “The born-again Christians are arrogant…they do.” That’s a pretty broad brush with which you paint! I’m sure ALL of them are arrogant and hypocritical…just like ALL African-Americans are criminals…ALL Jews are greedy…ALL Muslims are terrorists…ALL Germans are Nazis…and ALL ‘X’ are ‘Y.’ Let’s be more charitable. If people continue to say comments like this one, then they will become that which they criticize.
