And now, John McCain supports torture!
John McCain voted for the Military Commissions Act of 2006, a law that legalized torture, and gave the President the powers necessary to conduct torture behind a wall of secrecy, revoking habeas corpus.
John McCain refuses to take back his support of torture.
You want that for President?

He didn’t break?? Are you kidding me?? No matter what version of “the truth” you look at he told the guards to get him to a hospitl and he will tell them whatever they want to know.
He didn’t accept early release because he knew that if he did he was going to be called a coward by the other POWs when they came home. Not good for someone with political aspirations.
He came home and divorced his wife after she was in a wheelchair after a horrible accident. The same woman who fought like crazy while he was being held, who was active in the National Alliance of POW/MIA Families keeping the issue of the men in the governmental spot light. Why? Well, is wouldn’t look good having a wife in a wheel chair I guess.
Head on over to http://tcoverride.blogspot.com and read about McCain’s visit to this Army Major at Walter Reed and how he, after plesantries, said “We all know why we’re here, let’s do the photo op.” (paraphrased)
Find a POW/MIA family member and ask them what he did while on the 1992 Senate Select Committee for POW/MIA Afffairs. Ask about making the sister of a missing man cry after being chewed out by McCain during the hearings.
Check out the DVD “Missing Presumed Dead” about his history with the POW/MIA Issue. NO ONE should be more supportive of these families than McCain. Yet, he has voted to limit families access to documents and debriefs.
I could go on and on …. Wake up - this guy is all smoke and mirrors - he makes Bill Clinton look honest.
