Les Roberts, author of the Lancet Report, believes the actual number may now be as high as 1,000,000.

Do you have or know where I can get demographics on the US military killed in Iraq, i.e. age, race, gender. I’ve read the stats are high for rural areas as it is a high recruitment area and economically down.

I don’t know of any such source, but I’ll keep looking. For starters, the link below lists every US death individually, including home town.

If you watch the McNeal Lehrer news report on public television, at the end they will post in silence the names and photos of those killed. I seem to notice a disproportionate number of Hispanics, quite a number of blacks as you might expect, also quite a number over 35-y-o.
