Irregular Times Diaries: Unfit DiscussionIn a time of the spring, old paths are obscured and new growth begins.
I never know what to expect from Iroquois’ diary postings, and that’s a good thing. Iroquois is eclectic, particular, general, biting, forgiving, questioning, answering and always challenging. Thank you, Iroquois, for shoving my brain out in different directions whether I like it or not. Thanks for helping me to laugh. You can have the part of Antarctica I was saving for the icegoing cephalopod mutants.

Thanks. I think.
The Breatharians have found out that Antarctica experiences nearly complete 24-hour sunlight during the summer months and would like to settle on your portion of Antarctica. It’s not like they’re likely to last very long, ingesting only sunlight like that, so maybe you’ll be able to move the mutant cephalopods in there too–you know, sell the same piece of real estate twice.
If I have managed to challenge your brain, Jim, well that is a compliment. Of course it goes both ways. It’s not just providing a forum, you also know how to engage people with ideas. And if there are times when you wish I was more of a sycophant, well, I am also always one of your most devoted fans.
