Funny cartoon, but on second look, I don’t agree with the premise.
“The chicks” are the ones who are supposed to be afraid. Sort of like roller coasters and haunted houses. Then “the cool kids” can play hero, wear camo, play out the role of the big brave man protecting the Little Woman, and fly around in a cape. It’s a role playing fantasy. But the guys aren’t going to get to play out their fantasy role without a terrorist threat.
Oh, and the chicks could care less. This is to impress the other guys. It’s either one of these male-bonding Guy Things or some sort of latent homosexual panic thing. Judging by the amount of homophobia in the war games crowd, probably the latter.

Taking the terrorism story line out to its illogical conclusion? Okay, I’ll buy that.
