Irregular Times Diaries: Unfit DiscussionIn a time of the spring, old paths are obscured and new growth begins.
By way of public notice, I have just finished and posted a message to the all of the members of Unity08 only “Delegate Committee” group that I know of: u08delegatecouncil@yahoogroups.com. In this message, I suggested that we, as duly registered Unity08 “Delegate” continue to meet online to form the consciousness of Unity08, as it were, and to follow the finally ownership of Unity-8 email lite. I happen to be it belongs to all of the registered delegates of Unity08. In this message I have also called for “u08delegatecouncil” members to start thinking about the possibility of forming an authentic “online” political party that did, in fact, represent the voices of its registered membership.
At this time, I would like to invite all “duly registered Unity08 “Delegates” to become members of u08delegatecouncil and help us move forward with this effort.

Okay, so I didn’t proofread my post. As I mentioned, we should continue this group if nothing else then to follow the final ownership of Unity-8 email list. I happen to believe it belongs to all of the registered delegates of Unity08.

Oh, but you might mean does “un08delegatecouncil” have a website? Yes, but in order to gain access, you have to be a member. So just write and tell them you are a registered Unity08 delegate and you want to join the group. Let me know if you have any problems joining.

Oh, but I don’t want to become a Unity08 delegate.

David,
Try 2012.

Thanks Jim,
But 2012 might be a little too early as well. As the good people at Untiy08 found out, building a 10,000,000-member organization takes time and honesty, both of which are always in short supply when you start talking about the tick in politics.

Unity08Founders have from the beginning offered a deficient website to sincere people (delegates)who wanted things to be correct…I complained to them frequently but never recieved a response nor did I see any good design formatted into website; it was a heartache, but I plugged along, submitting ‘ideas’ to be considered as our Unity08 Platform, yet there was never any consolidating to any position and statement of any specific verbage on anything! I beleived in our Candidates to be worthy of our vote to have to embrace/acknowledge/recognize/support a good many Constitutional Amendments: PERSONHOOD AMENDMENT, OWNER-OCCUPIED REAL ESTATE, 17 YEARS FREE EDUCATION, twice a year/every year official recognition of CITIZEN’S REDRESS GOV’T DAY, Living Wage of at least $20.00/hr., socialize many more employment positions across America, Adopt ADDENDUM to 14th Amendment of our Constitution and Deport All Illegal Persons/SECURE OUR BORDERS,get Insurance Industry out of Healthcare Industry/go back to cash and carry system, NO HOMOSEXUAL RIGHTS….I will check out http:/nolp.blogspot.com and see if there is good design format and prganization and a WILLINGNESS TO STATEA PLATFORM, yours respectfully, buffaloray@yahoo.com

I would strongly object to Mr. Farrar having any access to the Unity08 mailing list. I think the right thing to do would be either to destroy the list, or use it to create something like a yahoo group so that members could communicate with each other without making their email public if they chose, or they could leave the group entirely.

The lesson of Unity08 is clear: A top-down operation that’s only fake grassroots, run by lobbyists and PR hacks, won’t work.
Ground up.
