The Hillary Clinton campaign claims “professors have tenure while lecturers do not”.
That’s complete nonsense. There are different tiers of professors, starting with adjunct professors, who teach a class here and there, and then on to associate professors, then full professors, all the way to professors emeritus.
Only someone who hasn’t been to college would believe the claim that “professors have tenure while lecturers do not’. Maybe that’s who the Hillary Clinton for President campaign is aiming for.

Not terribly surprising that U of C backed up its favorite son, especially since Michele served on their hospital board. Law school professors are usually JDs, not PhDs as in other academic settings. Obama was still claiming to be a U of C professor when he ran for office in 2004, although technically he was on leave and never returned. I work for a college but would never claim to be professor, more like adult educator.
Well, that’s one of the Hillary talking points about Obama padding his resume, want to try for the other 9?
