Irregular Times Diaries: Unfit DiscussionIn a time of the spring, old paths are obscured and new growth begins.
The Republicans say that Sarah Palin should be elected Governor because she has executive experience - although it’s in very small communities. Sarah Palin has had experience running a business, however. She was the partial owner of a car wash in Anchorage, Alaska. Together with her husband, she held 40 percent of the car wash’s ownership.
And how did Sarah Palin do with the executive experience of running a small business? Lousy. She ran the business into the ground because she couldn’t be bothered to keep up with paperwork. Sarah Palin failed to file legally required reports or to pay the state licensing fees for the business, and so the car wash was shut down.
In addition to the car wash, Sarah Palin was the owner and operator of a marketing consultancy with the odd name of Rouge Cou. Rouge Cou is a rough translation into French of the American phrase redneck. Actually, the French translation should have been Cou Rouge. Sarah Palin couldn’t even get that right, and the consulting business closed after it failed to get even one client.
With this record of executive failure, why should Sarah Palin be given the position of Vice President under the elderly and most-likely-to-die-in-office President in American history, John McCain?

The answer to your excellent question is, she should NOT be given the job of Vice-President, because the existence of her brain has yet to be confirmed, or even detected.
We will learn more examples of the disturbing anomaly behind her strange appointment, and she will be tossed out as a candidate. Part of all of the concern people are feeling about her endless lack of qualifications, is that it will be up to all of us to marshall the evidence against her.

Sadly, the latest polls say the majority of reps love her, lots of independents like her and some dems are ho-hum; some women even like her on the flimsiest of reasons such as, “I’m sure she wouldn’t have accepted if she didn’t think she could manage it all”. I think independent is code for “I vote republican 99% of the time, but I like to say I’m ‘Independent” just in case I change my mind one time”. This poll was reported on MSNBC and comes from the Washington Post.

America is now electing its leaders with the same superficial criteria used to elect a student council president in middle school.
If John McCain died, Sarah Palin would lead America even further into the gutter than George W. Bush.
She’s a puppet. And who would be behind the scenes running things under President Palin? THe same old Republican puppet masters.

She might have run her business into the ground but you must remember all the experience she has on foreign policy… both Cindy McCain and John McCain said that she has good foreign policy because Alaska is so close to Russia. What does that tell you about not only who is running for president… and also who is running for vice president with her twenty months of “expertise” of being a governor?

As gag me states Sarah has the needed traits of a high school student that would get elected student council president. As soon as some of America realizes they are reacting like high school students to this Sarah Phenom the sooner Sarah will be laughed back to Alaska. Unfortunately Alaskans will be considered has having the wisdom of high school students because of this Sarah thing.

srethng- don’t be so sure- there are A LOT of really stupid people out there. They can get a licence to drive, and they can vote. too many people are too concerned with what’s on TV to really care.
I listen to both candiates- the main party one- you have to LOOK for any stuff on the others, and frankly- i don’t like either one.
