   I suppose you’re right,Peregrin…Still, I always trusted my gut feelings;they’ve never failed me yet…and, if it walks like a duck, has webbed feet like a duck, goes quack like a duck, I, for one, have more than enough information to conclude that it’s a duck.Really, about all he hasn’t done is compel the military to swear an oath of loyalty to him, personally. Oh, but I forget: He has all those mercenaries,er, I mean, “Private Contractors” to do that for him. Kinda puts whole new meaning into “turning it over to the private sector”,doesn’t it?

   Heh, it’s almost too bad us liberals aren’t really bloodthirsty. I just watched “Silence of the Lambs”. Can you imagine Hannibal Lector losing elections, especially to this lot of incompetent fascists?

   Your reaction reminds me of the stupidity of the question “How did Hitler come to power?” The answer is: Through the votes of people like you.

   Fascinating that you accuse us of being bloodthirsty, when we oppose torture, and when you and Bush support it. Fascinating!

    Anyway, yeah… Anonymous; “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY”; I don’t know how many times I’ve had to repeat that to Americans recently, but it’s a FACT of fair trial; so all those who had their freedom taken away from them (i.e. were detained) for more than 24hrs without a fair trial were not only innocent but having their HUMAN RIGHTS taken away from them!

    I’m sorry you obviously miss just how important human rights and freedom is, but they are VERY important and you should NEVER forget that.
