Catalog Fun: Elegant Fiber Optic Orchid

Although it is a major headache to receive catalogues as Christmastime approaches, filled with trinket after trinket after trinket, there are times when one comes upon a true treasure.

I’m speaking here of a rhetorical treasure. This morning, I came upon four words that should never be strung together in the English language. I am speaking of the Elegant Fiber Optic Orchid:

The Elegant Fiber Optic Orchid is a terribly tacky gift yet a linguistically luscious treasure.

The accompanying text informs me that with this item I can “add a touch of elegance to any room… and watch as the fiber optic lights cascade from warm yellows and reds to cool blues and purples.”

And I thought I had seen everything under the sun. How wrong, how very wrong I was! Thank you, Elegant Fiber Optic Orchid!

I bought 1 too. But, my light transformer has stopped working.
Where can I find another light transformer to get my flowers glowing again?
      Thank you for assistance

I received one of these beauties from my mom and the lighting is no longer working. It’s very important to me to get it up and running as my mom thinks she will not be here on the earth much longer. Please someone tell me where I can get a new one, or at least the motor that runs it.

    Thanks,
    Leslie

When it is lit my friends call it the “electric orchid”. So special.
