Message: Senate Not Responding

People say that computers are stupid, but I beg to differ. I got this message from my computer just this afternoon, and I have to say that it’s spot on:

Senate not responding

I don’t think that any human being could have phrased the situation better: “Could not open the page http://senate.gov because the server stopped responding”

As I understand it, in November 2006, the Senate is due for a system update. Maybe then we’ll get some responsive service.

It’d really be nice if the Democrats figured out where they hid their spines and started using them again. If not, then we need a clean slate in both the Senate and the House.

The democrats aren’t the answer any more – they’re just as bad at leadership, reform, and protection of our rights (through failure to stop this terrible administration in all but a few cases) – and are many times complicit in the Republican agenda (deal making runs rampant in Washington). The founding fathers are spinning in their graves. The checks and balance system they constructed is being dismantled and replaced by a corporate/homeland security agenda which strips citizens of their rights, provides little if any benefits, and leaves us all vulnerable to more abuse.
