It is a time of fear in the face of freedom, a time of barricaded roads and new paths. Maps fade and direction is lost as we glance sideways at the strange lands through which we pass, knowing for certain only that our destination has disappeared.     Actually — he did.

    Matthew 12:30 and Luke 11:23
    “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters.”

    Of course, he also said:

    Mark 9:40
    “For he that is not against us is on our part.”

    Luke 9:50
    “And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.”

    But those get overlooked occasionally.
