Helen Keller on Fear and Security

This morning I came across the following quote from Helen Keller on fear and security:

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature nor do the children of man as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” – from The Open Door, 1957

I love all of Hellen Keller outlook in life. From the day she feared trust til she finally trusted herself and decided learning was bigger than fear she became wiser and wiser I strive for this. Fear is numbing @ times. Her life was an everyday adventure.
