Honda, the company that made Nicky Hayden’s motorcycle says that Hayden was heroic because it was very hot outside while Hayden gunned his motorcycle’s engine really fast…
burning gasoline…
spewing greenhouse gases…
during an energy crisis…
for a thrill.
Nicky Hayden didn’t defeat the heat. He helped create it.
That makes him the monster of his own heroic tale.

I dunno. Kinda sounds like a hero to me. I mean, MotoGP is awesome stuff.
Very good post - although it isn’t the gasoline burning, “greenhouse gas” producing, “energy crisis” exacerbating behavior that prompts me to say this.
It is the idea that any sports luminary would be considered a “hero”. Athletes are merely skilled entertainers. Not Heroes.
(Unless they actually do something heroic, like save or improve other’s lives, which granted some do.)

The green people are idiots! Did he use his computer to make that remark? Then where are his legs -a Computer is a petro product DOH - Besides whats up with the people that do not have real lives all ways hating people who have “fun” with their lives - Kinda Sad - Is the glass half full or half empty ? The people that “see” believe the green house gas energy the world is going to end soon are creating it by that belief ( things are as you believe and you can believe anything you can -Try make your belief for the best outcome you can - too difficult for you negators of positive light ! ) The Green people are the problem with the planet they are creating problems - There is nothing wrong with the planet ! So what if humans go extinct - it will make way for better evolution of species - Like the dinosaurs did to allow us to exist - Yeah save the dinosaur how daft humans would not have evolved to be where they are today if they had greenpeople then they are causing constipation of forward movement by stopping natural progression - Like you said steve idiots - Go Nicky Hayden !!! The Green Man is missing a golden oppurtunity. He could have used Hayden to push for motorcycle transportation as opposed to automobile transportation which would save far more gas and spew far less green house gases in the air. It could be argued that anyone promoting motorcyle use is more for the earth then those using automobiles.
Do you ride a motorcycle or drive an automobile green boy?
I’m for a green earth! But this lack of thinking irks me.
