How many ways can you make the point that across the country, letters written by Republican operatives but fraudulently claimed to be written by regular Joes and Janes have been planted in newspapers’ “letters to the editor” sections? Call it plagiarism, call it fraud, call it skunkworks, call it a low-down dirty lie: whatever you call it, it is highly unethical politics.
How many ways can you make that point? I don’t know, but I’m going to keep on trying until, lo, behold, or both lo and behold, the mainstream media gets a clue and stops cluelessly publishing these fake letters.
So tonight comes my second entirely hacky little piece of what the French call cinema when they don’t have bronchitis: Republican Plagiarism II: The Movie! Starring a willingly fraudulent citizen, named within. What will an elephant do to get a vote? Watch and find out.
I want to know about the artistic choice of representing the Republicans as speaking from a kitchen table. Is this a subtle critique against the abuse of the Kitchen Cabinet, as a milieu, per se?
Naw, it’s just the only surface I have handy.
