AFA Shocked by Holidays, Hooks Up With Gay Stabbers

The American Family Association is showing its true moral colors. Its latest “Action Alert” asks people to do two things:

1. Send an e-mail to Best Buy protesting the company’s decision to refer to “holidays” rather than just to “Christmas” in their December advertising circulars.

Of course, there are more holidays than Christmas in December. There’s Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, the Solstice, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve, just to note the majors. There’s also Maunajiyaras, Tohji-taisai, World AIDS Day, Bodhi Day, Ghambar Maidyarem and the anniversary of the death of Zarathustra. A number of these holidays predate the December 25 Christmas, so it’s simply counterfactual to say that Christmas is “the reason for the season.” But the only way to satisfy the American Family Association is to pretend that Christmas is the only December holiday. So in their quest to make everybody ignore the existence of non-Christian holidays, the American Family Association will try to organize a boycott of Best Buy this year. And Best Buy will do just fine.

2. Give the American Family Association money.

In the meantime, the American Family Association has been using its wire service arm, Agape Press, to summon support for Jews for Morality, a group that openly declares its support for stabbing marchers in a “Jerusalem Homo-Pride Parade”.

It’s not just a passing, casual support for the violent Jews for Morality organization that the American Family Association offers. The AFA’s Agape Press, lends support to JfM and its leader, Rabbi Yehuda Levin over a number of years and under the names of multiple “reporters”: here and here and here and here and here and here.

I’m not going to do what the American Family Association and Jews for Morality do: demand that an organization or person offensive to them be silenced. I wouldn’t even ask nicely for the American Family Association and Jews for Morality to shut up. I want them to keep talking out loud about their alliance and about what they truly believe: that it’s OK to burn trash in the street of Jerusalem, it’s OK to riot, it’s OK to stab gay people, if it serves the cause of fundamentalist religious hatred. The more their clownish advocacy of violence can be heard, and the more people understand the danger of fundamentalist religious hatred, the better.

the AFA has a form email u can fill out to send Best Buy, the text of said email is completely editable

as a result it is possible to send Best Buy an email about ANYTHING, including expressing support for their decision to use “holidays” instead of “Christmas”

    get the idea?

  2. Iroquois Honky says:

They now have a statement on their website that says Best Buy is blocking Emails. If you look at their privacy policy, they do collect the information you give them. You can’t send this email without disclosing at least your email and zip code, although I supppose there’s no way to check out the accuracy of the info you give.

These are the last people on earth I would want to have my email address.
